The NCTA would like to congratulate former US National Collegiate Team member Jackie Galloway on her bronze medal at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games. She advanced over Puerto Rico and Netherlands to reach the semifinals, where she had a very close loss to Mexico. In the repechage, she scored a decisive win over France to win the bronze medal! You can see her medal-winning moment at the NBC Olympics website:
The NCTA would also like to congratulate the other USA Olympians, including former collegiate team member Stephen Lambdin, as well as Steven Lopez and Paige McPherson. The collegiate taekwondo community was cheering you on all the way and was proud of how you performed!
The NCTA wishes our USA Olympians Jackie Galloway, Stephen Lambdin, Steven Lopez and Paige McPherson good luck this week in Rio! Lambdin has been a member of the 2008, 2011 and 2015 US National Collegiate Teams, and Galloway served on the 2013, 2014 and 2015 US National Collegiate Teams. Galloway is a World University Taekwondo Championships gold medalist (2014), and Lambdin is a World University Taekwondo Championships bronze medalist (2008). Please cheer them on as they compete on August 19 and August 20!
Dear NCTA participants,
The CU Boulder liability waivers are now available. We apologize for the delay in making them available to you. Please complete the appropriate waivers as all participants (athletes, coaches, referees, volunteers, etc.) will have to turn in a completed waiver before you can receive your credential. Blank waiver forms will also be available at the credential pick-up site in the Student Rec Center on the CU Boulder campus.
On Friday starting at 4:00pm and on Saturday at 8:30am we have been asked to use the entrance at the back of the Studen Rec Center. On Sunday we will enter through the front doors of the building.
As you can see from the enhanced campus map, there is a parking lot (lot 169, it is a dirt lot) which is a short walk up a hill to the rear entrance of the Student Rec Center. Please keep in mind that this is a hill according to Colorado standards.
