Longtime NCTA supporters Dr. Leslie Cheung and Dr. Jun Yoon have
\naccepted their appointment as referees to officiate at the 8th WTF
\nWorld Taekwondo Poomsae Championships to be held in Bali, Indonesia,
\non\u00a0October 31 through November 3, 2013. All referees will receive 3
\nextra full days of training prior to the competition.<\/p>\n
Arguably the most updated poomsae referee in the U.S., with the
\nexperience of four WTF Poomsae International Referee Seminars and
\nInternational Referee Refresher Courses under his belt in just a mere
\ntwo years, Dr. Cheung is a seasoned poomsae judge that has officiated
\nin multiple local tournaments as well as the NCTA and USAT Team
\nTrials. He has graciously assisted gratis at a number of USAT poomsae
\nreferee seminars.<\/p>\n
As an 8th-Dan grandmaster, NCTA Referee Chair Dr. Jun Yoon is one of
\nthe most celebrated taekwondo coaches and referees in the world. It
\nwas only natural that he received the Best Referee award at the last
\n7th WTF World Taekwondo Poomsae Championships in Tunja, Columbia.<\/p>\n
NCTA would like to express its gratitude to both Dr. Cheung and Dr.
\nYoon for their years of tireless service to NCTA, and wishes them the
