After extensive deliberation, the FISU Executive Committee has announced the postponement of the 2022 Summer World University Games in Chengdu, China until the summer of 2023. Dates are yet to be determined. This decision, while extremely disappointing for our entire delegation, contemplates the recurring complexities associated with large scale global travel and competition during the pandemic, and represents a commitment to ensuring the health and safety of all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
NCTA is truly saddened by this development. All of you have spent many, many hours planning, gathering information, and overcoming the hurdles that Chengdu kept adding. We appreciate all of you.
