Good Luck to Our Team USA Olympians!

The NCTA wishes our USA Olympians Jackie Galloway, Stephen Lambdin, Steven Lopez and Paige McPherson good luck this week in Rio! Lambdin has been a member of the 2008, 2011 and 2015 US National Collegiate Teams, and Galloway served on the 2013, 2014 and 2015 US National Collegiate Teams. Galloway is a World University Taekwondo Championships gold medalist (2014), and Lambdin is a World University Taekwondo Championships bronze medalist (2008). Please cheer them on as they compete on August 19 and August 20!

CU Boulder Liability Waivers

Dear NCTA participants,
The CU Boulder liability waivers are now available. We apologize for the delay in making them available to you. Please complete the appropriate waivers as all participants (athletes, coaches, referees, volunteers, etc.) will have to turn in a completed waiver before you can receive your credential. Blank waiver forms will also be available at the credential pick-up site in the Student Rec Center on the CU Boulder campus.

2016 Waiver of Responsibility – Collegiate Nationals
On Friday starting at 4:00pm and on Saturday at 8:30am we have been asked to use the entrance at the back of the Studen Rec Center. On Sunday we will enter through the front doors of the building.
As you can see from the enhanced campus map, there is a parking lot (lot 169, it is a dirt lot) which is a short walk up a hill to the rear entrance of the Student Rec Center. Please keep in mind that this is a hill according to Colorado standards.

NCTA General Assembly and Discussion Reminder

Just a reminder to register your club for NCTA membership at:

in order for your club to be recognized as an NCTA member at the NCTA general assembly, and to be considered in the year-end rankings. You may bring your fee and letter of institutional recognition with you and pay at the general assembly. Thank you.
The NCTA General Assembly will be at 7:00pm at the tournament site, the University of Colorado Boulder Recreation Center. There will be a discussion regarding the NCAA recognition efforts at NCTA as well as other agenda items. Please feel free to attend whether you are an NCTA member club or not.
